Knit and Natter penguins reach Antarctica

We first reported on these wonderful penguins last June. They were made by the Scottish Knit and Natter group and have now made the long journey right down to the end of the world and have finally reached “home” in Antarctica.

But this is not the end of their adventures. They fancy somewhere a little less chilly so soon they will be on their way to the sub-Antarctic island of South Georgia where they will hop off the Silver Cloud to the South Georgia Museum.

The Knit and Natter group made the penguins and sent them on the ship to help raise funds for SGHT.
